1. IRobot Roomba i3+ EVO
The i3+ EVO and its i3 EVO sibling, the i3 EVO are both identical robots that differ only in that the i3+ has self-emptying capabilities. This makes the i3+ a great option for those looking for an automated, hands-free cleaning experience but don't mind manually emptying their robot's dustbin when it is full.
Both robots are proficient in removing dirt and dust particles on carpets and hard floors and are able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software creates smart maps of your home that aid the i3+ EVO to navigate and clean in a way that maximizes efficiency. The i3+ does not feature obstacle avoidance features like the i7+ or other top-rated robots we have test. It may be stuck on power cords and socks and have difficulty navigating between different surfaces like carpet and hardwood.
iRobot suggests that you clear areas where the i3+ EVO will vacuum before you use it, which includes getting rid of any clutter or toys it may encounter. It's also a good idea to keep the dust bin and filter clear so they don't become clogged with dirt. If the i3+ EVO's internal bin is full or the battery is depleted, it returns to its docking station and automatically emptying its dirt into the station's dust bin and then resumes cleaning where it began. The battery's life span is approximately an hour and a half of continuous use. It takes about three hours to fully charge.
2. iRobot Roomba i7+
The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the top model of the flagship line from iRobot, and it has the most up-to-date features. It's self-charging and self-navigating. However, the most important feature is its self-emptying bin. This will eliminate the need for routine maintenance.
The Roomba i7+ is able to remember up to 10 floor plans and their names with Imprint Smart Mapping, which allows it to create maps of rooms so that it can clean them more efficiently. It also integrates with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning tasks and control your robot with voice or through the app.
The i7+ is more efficient and more maneuverable in our tests compared to the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from any surface including carpeting. Its greatest advantage over the Eufy is the self-emptying bin which eliminates major sources of maintenance and reduces the cost of maintenance.
We were also impressed by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services that we used to instruct the robot to begin, stop or pause its cleaning routines and to move around the room, and even vacuum an area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ with these services. Once connected, to speak commands to the i7+, like "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options to manage the i7+'s settings and monitoring its performance.
3. Dyson Cyclone V10
This tiny Dyson model is an all-sports car in a world of cordless vacuums that feel like minivans and buses. It is powerful enough to replace a traditional stand-up vacuum in the majority of homes, yet it is also small enough to fit on a bookcase or coffee table.
The V10 is powered by a 7-cell energy-dense lithium-ion battery that produces fade-free power for 60 minutes. Its sophisticated whole-machine filtration system removes allergens, and then releases cleaner air back into your home. Its cleaning head is specially designed and drives bristles made of nylon that are stiff into carpet to suck up large crumbs and fine dust. It comes with three suction modes to match the task being performed. It swiftly switches from handheld vacuum to floor vacuum and back again.
This model comes with an attached dock that charges the Dyson to 100 percent in 3.5 hours. It also provides the ability to connect two attachments as well as a Wand. This is a huge improvement over earlier Dysons which require a long charge and are difficult to store.

It's capable of sucking up most kinds of debris in our testing, and it often goes over the same areas several times to ensure a thorough clean. Its flat front makes it possible to reach the corners and edges of walls.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of iAdapt to avoid obstacles and navigate your home, but it's not equipped with the mapping capability of more sophisticated models like our top choices, the i3+ EVO and j7+ series. It can get stuck on phone cords or furniture and will often run out of power before returning to its base.
The Xiaomi Mi robot vacuum is superior to the Roomba 694 in all aspects in that it has fewer components that require regular maintenance and is equipped with an allergen-trapping HEPA filter, has lower costs for recurring maintenance, has more advanced automation capabilities and does a better job maneuvering itself. Samsung is a household name in home electronics. It's not surprising that they are also among the top producers of robot vacuums and mop. Their Jet Bot AI+ is equipped with cutting-edge onboard tech for navigation and obstacles avoidance.
The app offers a variety of options to customize your robotic cleaner. This includes virtual barriers, mopping levels and behavior modifications, docking frequency settings and more. It's easy to understand and is user-friendly, which is the case with other Samsung devices.
In our testing our tests, the Jet Bot AI+ excelled on hard floors and handled dog hair (on carpet) very well, picking up 86 percent of it. It didn't do very well in avoiding taller items such as cords or socks. This was disappointing. It's also more expensive than other models we've tested and this could be a problem for some buyers.
